Originally formed in 1995 as The Jawas, vocalist Brian Von Wolfe reformed the band with new members in 2010, bringing on Craig Cano (Syphic, AFU, Naked Aggression) Rick Gutierrez (YAPO, SCUMM) original drummer Antonio Hernandez (TSOL, Litmus Green, SCUMM) and rebranding as The Jawaz.
After a handful of live shows between 2010 - 2012, the band recorded and released their first and only vinyl release in late 2012..
